Cleatop Park Wood

Practical Conservation Work

We arrange practical conservation management work in Cleatop Park Wood in partnership with Craven Conservation Volunteers and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.

Parts of Cleatop Park were logged and planted with non-native conifers in the 1970s. Most of our conservation work aims to help restore these areas to semi-natural woodland.

Details

We meet in Greenfoot Car Park in Settle at 9.30am (10 am on 9th January) and return to Settle by 3pm. You will need to bring old, warm clothes, waterproofs, lunch and sturdy shoes or boots. Cleatop Park is about a 1 mile walk from Settle.

See below for details of future events and pictures of past events.
