From veronika.eyring@dlr.de Thu May 24 11:54:49 2007 Date: Mon, 21 May 2007 15:45:22 +0200 From: "Eyring, Veronika" To: CCMVal2007-noreply@dlr.de Subject: CCMVal 2007: Agenda and Logistical Information Dear Attendees at the CCMVal 2007 workshop, The CCMVal 2007 workshop at the University of Leeds from June 26-28, 2007 is just a few weeks away. This email provides a number of important details which apply to all participants. 1. Final Agenda 2. Poster Presentations 3. Talks from CCM groups on the state and future of CCMs 4. Logistical Information 1. Final Agenda ------------------------------------ The final agenda is now available at the Workshop website http://www.see.leeds.ac.uk/ccmval2007 The time allocated for the talks selected from the submitted abstracts is 15 minutes which includes 5 minutes for questions and discussion. 2. Poster Presentations ------------------------------------ The agenda obviously permits only a few short talks. All posters will be an integral part of the meeting, with ample time for discussion, and most breaks held in the poster room. All posters will be up for the duration of the meeting. Poster format: The poster boards are portrait and are 2m tall by 1m wide. A0 is 841mm by 1189mm. So, landscape A0 posters won't fit on the boards without sticking over the edge. A0 portrait is fine. The boards are double-sided and the posters should be attached with the 'hook' side of Velcro. 3. Talks from CCM groups on the state and future of CCMs --------------------------------------------------------- On Tuesday morning 75 minutes are scheduled for an overview of the state and future of CCMs. Each CCM group will be asked to send in some slides in advance, to be assembled into a single presentation along with a set of questions. Preferably and if they have a representative there, then someone from the group should stand up and present that group's slides. Detailed information and a ppt-template will be sent to all CCM groups separately soon. 4.
