Dr. Alexandru Rap


I am an Associate Professor in Atmospheric Science in the Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science, School of Earth and Environment, University of Leeds.

My current research focuses on atmosphere and climate modelling, especially on aviation impacts on climate, radiative forcing from aerosols & non-CO2 greenhouse gases, and the impact of diffuse radiation on vegetation.

I previously worked on aerosol-cloud parameterisations for Global Climate Modelling & Boundary Element methods for inverse problems.
