UWERN support
Part of my job as a UWERN research fellow is to support the work of
the UWERN orographic flow community. The majority of my work is
numerical modelling of orographic flows. Some details of the
models
used in Leeds are available online. I can provide help to the
UWERN community with these.
I have also made
available the graphics program (blasvis) I have developed to process
BLASIUS and 3dnvom1.6 data files. More details are available on
the blasvis support page. This is now used
by various people in both Leeds and the Met Office.
As part of my support role I also maintain the UWERN web pages and mailing
lists.
Other random interests
- I play 2nd baritone with Otley Brass Band.
- Plplot graphics
library developer.
- Living so close to the Yorkshire Dales I like to get out walking
whenever I can.
