Model Results for Winter 2009/2010
This page contains preliminary results from simulations with the
SLIMCAT 3D model
chemical transport model.
The near real time model run is forced by ECMWF T42L91 operational analyses
with a horizontal resolution of 2.8 x 2.8 degrees and 32 levels from the
surface to ~60 Km.

is an animation of O3 loss (left) and ClOx (right) at ~470K during winter 2009/10.
Figures (460K)
and (column o3 loss)
show time series of vortex-averaged chemical ozone loss
at ~460 K and summed over the partial LS (380-550 K) column
for Arctic winters 1994/95 to 2009/10. For more information, please see
