Dr Daniel Hill

Lecturer in Global Change Modelling

I have recently been appointed as Lecturer in Global Change Modelling within the School of Earth and Environment, University of Leeds. I am a palaeo-climate modeller who studies warm periods of the recent geological past and the impact of past climate changes on the Earth system. I use a variety of computer models, including climate models from the Hadley Centre. I specialise in climate and ice sheet modelling and my previous research has particularly focussed on the Pliocene epoch and the Antarctic Ice Sheets. For more information on my current and past research see the various pages of my website.
